Tragic motorcycle accident claims life of upstate high school student
Tragically, a 16-year-old student named Tanner Hopkins from Walhalla High School passed away in a motorcycle accident on Friday afternoon in Oconee County, South Carolina. The collision occurred on Highlands Highway near Walhalla at around 3 p.m., where Hopkins was driving east on SC 28. The motorcycle veered off the road and hit a guard rail, leading to fatal injuries. The Coroner's Office confirmed that the death was accidental.
