Tragic boat incident on Skull Creek at Hilton Head Island
Authorities in Beaufort County, South Carolina, are looking into a tragic boating incident that happened on Friday night. Responders were called to Skull Creek on Hilton Head Island at around 9:45 p.m. after a boat collision was reported. Four people were on board the vessel when emergency teams arrived. Two of them were injured and taken to a nearby hospital, while the other two tragically lost their lives in the accident. The Beaufort County Coroner's Office will disclose the identities of the deceased once their families have been notified. The cause of the crash is still being investigated.
