Man from Safety Harbor dies in motorcycle accident in Pinellas County
A man from Safety Harbor has died following a motorcycle collision on SR-580 in Pinellas County, as reported by the Florida Highway Patrol. The incident occurred when the Kawasaki motorcycle, traveling east on SR-580, was unable to navigate a curve near Rigsby Lane. According to investigators, the man struck a concrete median and was ejected from the motorcycle. He was transported to a nearby hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. The FHP has not disclosed the identity of the motorcyclist.
