Tragic Accident: 72-Year-Old Man Killed in SUV Crash
A 72-year-old man passed away following a car accident in northern Mundelein, believed to be caused by a medical emergency. The incident occurred when the man's Toyota SUV veered into a guardrail along Route 60/83 and Taylor Lake Court. The driver, identified as Laurentino Marcos-Guzman, was found unconscious and non-responsive at the scene and later pronounced dead at Advocate Condell Medical Center. Medical examiners suggest the crash resulted from a sudden medical episode. The Lake County Sheriff's Technical Crash Investigations Team is conducting further inquiries.
