Troopers tell WDSU the deadly crash on the elevated Westbank Expressway involved a vehicle versus a pedestrian.On Thursday, an early morning crash led to three lanes blocked on the elevated Westbank Expressway heading Eastbound and heavy delays.According to Louisiana State Police, the Gretna crash involved a pedestrian.The crash was first reported shortly before 5:30 a.m., leading to heavy congestion on US-90B between Lafayette Street and Stumpf Boulevard.Drivers are encouraged to take an alternate route.
