Toddler, adult ejected in Scott County rollover accident

A toddler and two adults were transported following a roller accident in Scott County. According to a release from the Scott County Sheriff’s Office, the Scott Emergency Communications Center received a call of a rollover single-vehicle accident near the 283 mile marker of westbound Interstate 80 on June 27 at approximately 3:23 p.m. The Scott County Sheriff’s Office and Iowa State Patrol responded. Initial investigation showed a pickup truck pulling a tow-behind camper lost control, causing both truck and camper to roll over. The truck and camper came to rest on their tops in the median of Interstate 80. A woman, 35, and 23-month-old girl were ejected from the vehicle. The male driver, 31, was transported by Medic Ambulance ground transport to Mercy One Genesis Hospital. The woman was transported by Scott County Medic EMS Ambulance ground transport to University of Iowa Hospitals. The toddler was transported by MedForce to University of Iowa Hospitals. Their conditions are currently unknown. The Scott County Sheriff’s Office and Iowa State Patrol were also assisted by the Davenport Police Department, Walcott Police Department, Blue Grass Police Department, Walcott Fire Department and Durant Fire Department.
