
Three people killed in aircraft crash in Cross County, Arkansas
Three individuals were tragically killed in a plane crash that occurred in Parkin, Arkansas, on Monday, as per the Arkansas State Police. The authorities were alerted to a missing/overdue aircraft near the intersection of state highways 37 and 306 around 3 p.m., prompting a response from the Arkansas State Police, Federal Aviation Administration, and the Air Force Rescue Coordination Center. Memphis Air Traffic Control lost contact with the aircraft, which was en route from New Orleans to Jonesboro. The aircraft was finally located by officials around 6 p.m. after a search by the Arkansas Game and Fish and local fire departments. The three deceased individuals have been identified as Bob Clark Bolton Jr., the 59-year-old pilot from Heber Springs, and passengers Stanley Mitchell, 52, and Michael Montgomery, 56, both from Jonesboro. The Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board are on-site to investigate the cause of the crash.
