Teenager dies and 65-year-old seriously injured in fatal Manitowoc County crash
A tragic incident occurred in Manitowoc County, Wis., where a 17-year-old girl from Sheboygan lost her life in a two-vehicle collision early on Saturday morning. The Manitowoc County Sheriff's Office responded to the crash at State Highway 57/32 and Cemetery Road just after 7 a.m., reporting injuries from the collision. Preliminary information reveals that the young driver lost control of her 2005 Buick LaCrosse while heading southbound, crossing over into the northbound lanes, where her car was hit by a 2002 GMC Yukon driven by a 65-year-old man from Port Washington. The man sustained serious injuries but is expected to recover. The Wisconsin State Patrol, together with local authorities, is conducting an investigation into the incident.
