According to officials, the incident occurred on Thursday morning at the intersection of Krameria and Gardner avenues in Woodcrest. The California Highway Patrol responded to a call about a collision between a dirt bike and a Toyota 4Runner at 6:05 a.m. Upon arrival, officers found the teenager had passed away at the scene. The preliminary investigation suggests that the young dirt bike rider was approaching the intersection on Krameria Avenue from the west, while the 4Runner driver was heading north on Gardner Avenue when the two vehicles collided. The intersection is controlled by stop signs, and details about the circumstances of the crash are still being looked into. The victim has not been publicly named, and the CHP is urging any witnesses to come forward with information by contacting the Accident Investigation Unit at 951-324-7210.
