Teen arrested after multiple injuries in Aurora crash
A teenager is facing charges following a seven-car collision that occurred in Aurora on Friday night. The incident took place on southbound I-225 near Parker Road, where traffic had slowed due to another crash. The 17-year-old driver was speeding and failed to stop in time, causing the collision with multiple vehicles. Nine individuals were injured and taken to the hospital, including one person with serious injuries. The teenager and a passenger in his vehicle were also injured in the crash. The teen, who had a felony warrant from Texas, was arrested after being discharged from the hospital. Authorities have not disclosed the details of the warrant but confirmed that he has been cited for the crash. The southbound lanes of I-225 were closed for several hours for investigation and cleanup.
