Suspect in custody after hit-and-run incident claims the life of pedestrian on 16th Street in Denver
An investigation is underway regarding a fatal hit-and-run incident that occurred in downtown Denver on Sunday morning. The incident involved a collision between a motorist and a pedestrian at 16th and Market streets around 2:37 a.m. The Denver Police Department later made an arrest in the case. The suspect, identified as 27-year-old Milton McBride, was apprehended in the 1700 block of Wazee Street, just a few blocks away from the crash site. McBride is currently in custody and facing charges related to vehicular homicide. The victim's identity will be released by the Denver Office of the Medical Examiner upon the completion of their investigation.
