Suspect arrested for fatal hit-and-run in downtown Denver
A person was tragically killed in downtown Denver early Sunday morning in a hit-and-run incident near the 16th Street Mall. Soon after, a suspect, identified as 27-year-old Milton McBride, was arrested three blocks away in connection with the crash. McBride is currently in custody on suspicion of vehicular homicide, awaiting formal charges from the Denver District Attorney's Office. The victim's identity will be disclosed at a later time by Denver's Office of the Medical Examiner. McBride is scheduled to appear in court on Monday.
