Summersville resident killed in solo car crash close to Houston
A tragic incident near Houston took place in the early morning hours of Tuesday, November 11, resulting in the loss of a 27-year-old Summersville resident, as reported by the Missouri State Highway Patrol. The crash occurred at approximately 5 a.m. on State Highway 17, just one mile south of Houston. A 2023 Jeep Wrangler traveling east veered off the road and collided with an embankment. The driver was pronounced deceased at the crash site by the Texas County Coroner. The deceased individual's family has been informed of the unfortunate news. This marks the 28th fatality in MSHP Troop G for the year 2025.
