Stockton man dies in Polk County motorcycle crash
POLK COUNTY, Mo. -- One person is dead, and another was seriously injured after a motorcycle crashed three miles northeast of Aldrich Thursday night. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a 70-year-old man from Stockton was riding west on Route T on a 2016 Harley Davidson FLRT motorcycle with a 59-year-old woman from Branson. The motorcycle then left the road after trying to make a turn on a left-hand curve in the roadway, the crash report says. The motorcycle traveled down an embankment, went through a fence and overturned, ejecting both the driver and the passenger. The male driver of the motorcycle died in the crash. The female passenger was life-flighted to Cox South Hospital with serious injuries. This is the 16th fatality in MSHP Troop D for 2026.
