A shooting on Highway 99 led to a car crash and lane closures Friday morning in Stockton, officials said. The California Highway Patrol was dispatched around 9:07 a.m. to the crash on southbound Highway 99 near the Mariposa Road exit. The driver of a vehicle was shot, which led to the crash, CHP said. The driver was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, CHP Stockton said. Their condition is unknown at this time. There was also a large mark on the center divider about 50 yards behind the car, indicating where the car first crashed.
