State Police car hit in 'Scott's Law' incident on I-57 in Arcola

A recent incident occurred on I-57 in Arcola when an Illinois State Police squad car was hit by a Chevrolet Trailblazer while a trooper was directing traffic following another crash. Thankfully, no injuries were reported. The driver of the Chevy has been charged, and the State Police shared that a total of 12 Move Over Law-related crashes have taken place in Illinois in 2025.
