Springfield man in fatal pedestrian accident in Connecticut
A pedestrian from Meriden, Conn., tragically lost his life after being struck by a vehicle in Windsor. The incident, which occurred on Saturday evening, is under investigation by Connecticut State Police. The pedestrian had been involved in a prior traffic crash and was standing on the left shoulder of I-91 north when he walked into the travel lane and was hit by a vehicle driven by individuals from Springfield, Mass. Unfortunately, the pedestrian did not survive and was pronounced dead at Hartford Hospital. Authorities are asking for assistance from anyone who may have dash camera footage of the collision.
