Icy road conditions and speeding were factors in a tragic accident on M-59 that involved seven vehicles. The incident occurred Monday morning near Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in Pontiac. According to officials, two drivers, a 34-year-old from Pontiac and a 20-year-old from Waterford, lost control on the ice, leading to a chain reaction crash. Tragically, the driver of the Pontiac was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other driver sustained minor injuries. Fortunately, all individuals involved were wearing seat belts, and no one else was harmed in the collision.
