Six-vehicle crash in Bloomington causes traffic, hospitalizations
BLOOMINGTON, Ill. (WMBD -- Police here are working to clear a six-vehicle accident that has snarled traffic on one of Bloomington's main thoroughfares. Byrce Janssen, a police spokesman, said officers were on the way to a report of a stalled vehicle near the intersection of Veterans Parkway and Main Street. A minute later, the call came in regarding the collision. In all, six vehicles were involved and officers are in the midst of investigating the crash which did send some people to a local hospital with what Janssen termed as "non life-threatening" injuries. The department has urged people to avoid the area until the vehicles have been moved. This story will be updated.
