Severe injuries in collision between car and bicycle
The Douglas County Sheriff's Office has reported that a serious car versus bike collision occurred on Monday between Lawrence and Eudora. The bicyclist involved suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported to a hospital in Kansas City. An area of North 1400 Road between East 2000 Road and Winchester Road near Eudora was blocked off by the sheriff's office at 9 p.m. Investigators are currently reviewing the crash.
