Semi-truck driver dead following crash on I-95: SCHP
DORCHESTER COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) - The South Carolina Highway Patrol responded to a fatal collision on Interstate 95 southbound near mile marker 69 early Saturday morning. According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, officials responded to a 2017 Peterbilt semi-truck that had driven off the road, struck a guardrail and a bridge, and then overturned around 1:30 a.m. The driver of the vehicle was pronounced dead from their injuries, SCHP says. This collision remains under investigation.
