Semi truck and sedan collision results in fatality on I-26 Saturday morning, SCHP says
DORCHESTER COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) - A fatal crash occurred early Saturday morning on I-26 eastbound at the 172-mile marker, says the South Carolina Highway Patrol. According to patrols, at 4:30 a.m. on I-26 eastbound, a 2013 Freightliner semi truck and a 2013 Hyundai Sedan struck, causing the Sedan to overturn many times. The driver of the Sedan died from fatal injuries, states patrols. All lanes are back open after a detour was put in place following the crash. This collision is still under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
