Seeking witnesses for deadly 12-car crash in Las Vegas
The Las Vegas Metro police are seeking additional information from witnesses regarding a serious 12-vehicle accident that tragically resulted in two fatalities and several injuries. The incident occurred at the Cheyenne Avenue and Jones Boulevard intersection just before 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Suspect Jose Gutierrez, aged 19, was driving a silver Infiniti coupe at the time of the collision and is currently facing four counts of reckless driving leading to death or significant bodily harm. Police investigations suggest that Gutierrez was speeding while heading eastbound on Cheyenne Avenue when he collided with multiple stationary vehicles waiting at a red light. Authorities are asking those who may have observed anything unusual about the vehicle's behavior or its occupants before or during the accident to come forward with any relevant details.
