The Columbus Police Department has provided more information about a fatal crash in west Columbus that claimed the lives of two individuals over the weekend. The incident, which occurred at the intersection of Hilliard Rome Road and Roberts Road, involved a motorcycle and a Honda Civic. Despite ongoing investigations, details from CPD indicate that the motorcycle was traveling south on Hilliard Rome Rd while the Honda Civic was waiting to turn onto Roberts Rd. Tragically, the collision resulted in the death of the motorcycle passenger and critically injured the operator who later succumbed to their injuries. The driver of the Honda was unharmed.
