School bus driver airlifted after accident in Goldsboro

GOLDSBORO, N.C. (WNCT) -- The Goldsboro Police and Fire departments responded to a single-vehicle accident involving a school bus on April 30. Officials said that the accident occurred on N. Carolina Street and W. Vine Street. The bus was transporting Dillard Charter Academy students and contained nine children and two adults, a bus monitor and the driver. Six students have been transported to UNC Health Wayne for non-life-threatening injuries, and the driver was airlifted to ECU Health Medical in Greenville, according to the Goldsboro Police.
