'Road rage' causes driver to crash car into Seminole County business, officials say

A road rage incident resulted in a driver crashing into a nearby business in Casselberry on Saturday, according to the Seminole County Fire Department. According to the Casselberry Police Department, the driver struck another vehicle with his hand. He then accelerated too fast, causing his vehicle to fishtail into the building located at at the intersection of South U.S. Highway 1792 and Plumosa Avenue.Images provided by SCFD show the vehicle's front end crashed through the front window of the cabinet business in Casselberry. Only the road rage driver was injured in the accident, CPD said.The driver has been charged with reckless driving, and he was released on a criminal citation due to needing medical care. Emergency services transported the driver to a hospital, where he is being treated for non-threatening injuries.
