Review of Terrelle Pryor's role in Pittsburgh crash by DA
Terrelle Pryor, a former football star from Pittsburgh who played in the NFL, could be facing legal issues due to his involvement in a serious car accident. The incident occurred on May 31 when a vehicle, allegedly driven by Pryor, ran a red light and collided with another car in Pittsburgh's South Side Flats. The crash resulted in injuries to three people, with two suffering broken legs and one in critical condition, who has since been released. Pryor was reported to have been driving a Tesla Cybertruck and passed a field sobriety test but declined a breathalyzer test. The police have recommended charges such as failure to stop at a red light, aggravated assault by vehicle, and reckless driving, and the case has been referred to the district attorney's office for review. Pryor's legal history includes previous incidents, such as withdrawing from Ohio State due to accusations of selling memorabilia and pleading guilty to criminal mischief in 2021 related to a domestic dispute. Additionally, he received probation in connection to a stabbing incident. Despite several attempts to reach Pryor's attorney for comment on the recent crash, no response has been received.
