PSP: Tractor-trailer causes multi-vehicle crash on turnpike, injuring 3

An investigation is ongoing following a crash on the Pennsylvania Turnpike involving five vehicles that resulted in three people being injured, according to state police. The incident occurred in the eastbound lanes of I-76 near the North Fifth Street overpass in Denver Borough, Lancaster County, on Friday morning. A tractor-trailer reportedly struck a bridge on the turnpike, causing its load to spill onto the highway before fleeing the scene. This led to a chain-reaction crash involving two cars and two box trucks. Three individuals were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The eastbound lanes of the turnpike were closed as crews worked to clear the wreckage, and the investigation continues. Stay tuned to WGAL for updates on this developing story.
