Preliminary findings on deadly Wisconsin airplane accident
The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) has published an initial report on the tragic plane crash in Green County that claimed the lives of two individuals. According to the report, the single-engine aircraft took off from Oshkosh Wittman Airport and was given clearance to land at Monroe Municipal Airport. Despite poor visibility due to dense fog, the pilot made an attempt to land the plane, indicating a full stop if successful or a return to Oshkosh if necessary. The aircraft ultimately crashed into mining equipment near the airport, resulting in a post-impact explosion and a significant debris field. The NTSB is currently conducting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
