Postal worker praised for 43 years without any delivery mishaps
In Roaring Spring, Pennsylvania, a dedicated letter carrier for the United States Postal Service, Paul Rhodes, recently achieved a significant milestone by joining the esteemed National Safety Council Million Mile Club. Rhodes, who has been delivering mail to 504 families for 43 years without any accidents, was celebrated with a surprise ceremony where he was presented with a plaque and jacket in the presence of his family. Rhodes attributes his exemplary safety record to his commitment to always slow down and avoid distractions, such as ensuring his cell phone is off while working. Additionally, five other employees were also recognized for their dedication to safety, amassing a combined total of 73 accident-free years of service.
