Pike County grand jury charges Kentucky driver in fatal crash

HENDERSON, Ky (WEHT) - A Pike County grand jury has returned two indictments to formally charge a Sebree man for causing a fatal crash in Pike County back in March. The Pike County Prosecutor's Office states the crash was a near head-on that killed a 17-year-old on State Road 57. The other person involved was Justin Nunez Solis, 19. According to a release, the grand jury head from seven witnesses over two days. Testimony claimed Nunez Solis crossed the center line into the path of the 17-year-old. Officials also state one week before the crash, a trooper discovered Nunez Solis had no valid license after stopping him. A judge set Nunez Solid' bond at $1,000,000 with 10% permitted. He was arrested in Webster County pending extradition to Pike County.
