A tragic incident occurred in Eagle Mountain where a man lost his life after being hit by a Utah Highway Patrol vehicle. The victim's identity has not been disclosed by authorities handling the investigation, the Utah County Sheriff's Office. The collision occurred around 9:40 p.m. near Lake Mountain Road and Pole Canyon Boulevard. The trooper involved was reportedly not responding to an emergency situation. The victim, who was walking with a woman at the time, did not survive, but the woman and trooper were unharmed.
