Pedestrian hit by truck in Garden City passes away
A man from Garden City tragically lost his life after being hit by a pickup truck in an accident near Railroad Avenue and Anderson Road on Thursday around 11:30 p.m. The Kansas Highway Patrol reported that the pedestrian, identified as Lance Stucky, 31, was walking in the same direction as the pickup when the collision occurred. Stucky was taken to St. Catherine's Hospital in Garden City but was pronounced dead before 2:30 a.m. The 18-year-old driver of the pickup truck involved in the incident did not sustain any injuries, and there were no other vehicles involved in the accident.
