Pawnee man killed in crash near railroad crossing
Officials say a Pawnee man is dead following an accident near a railroad crossing in Garfield County. Around 6:15 p.m. on July 23, emergency crews were called to an accident near US Hwy 412 and 78th St. in Garfield County. Investigators say a vehicle was stopped at a railroad crossing with its flashers on when another vehicle hit it from behind. The driver of the second vehicle, identified as 32-year-old Dustin Laffoon, died from injuries he sustained in the crash.
