"Indian Idol" season 12 winner Pawandeep Rajan is currently in stable condition and is conscious after sustaining critical injuries in a road accident in Uttar Pradesh's Amroha district on Monday morning. The singer, who hails from Uttarakhand, is receiving treatment for multiple fractures and a significant head injury at a hospital in Noida. According to a statement from Fortis Hospital, Noida, Pawandeep is under the care of their orthopaedics team and is set to undergo a series of surgeries for his injuries. The accident took place when Pawandeep's car collided with a stationary canter truck on National Highway-9 near Chaupala Chauraha overbridge in Gajraula. The car driver and another passenger were also injured in the crash and were transferred to a higher medical facility for advanced care. The damaged vehicles have been seized by the police, and legal action is being pursued. Meanwhile, fans and family members of Pawandeep have gathered at the hospital in Noida to show their support. The Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Pushkar Singh Dhami, expressed his concern for Pawandeep's health and wished him a speedy recovery.
