Passenger killed, driver hurt after car crash in College Park
A passenger died, and a driver was hospitalized after a single-car crash Saturday morning in College Park, Maryland, according to the Prince George's County Police Department (PGPD). Officers responded around 8 a.m. to the area of Metzerott Road and St. Andrews Place for a report of a crash involving one vehicle. Police said the driver was taken to a hospital in stable condition. A man who was a passenger was also rushed to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after, according to police.
