PASOK politician Kostas Karvelis killed in car crash in Evrytania
Kostas Karvelis, a respected member of PASOK and a former local government official, tragically passed away in a car accident in central Greece. He was 75 years old at the time of the incident. Karvelis and another person were involved in the accident while on a hunting trip in Agia Paraskevi, when their vehicle veered off the road and fell into a ravine due to foggy conditions. The survivor was able to make it back to seek help, but it took over two hours for rescuers to reach and recover Karvelis from the crash site. PASOK offered their condolences to his family, praising his honesty, commitment, and public service contributions.
