OSP: Western Row Road closed in both directions after car hits wall on I-71, falls onto underpass
Western Row Road in Mason is shut down in both directions after a car crashed and then fell from Interstate 71 onto the roadway overnight, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.It happened around 2:30 a.m. Thursday.Troopers say two people are injured and the roadway is shutdown underneath I-71. Traffic is moving on I-71, but one lane is closed.The extent of those injuries have not been publicly disclosed.According to OSP, the vehicle was going northbound on I-71 when it hit the barrier on the southbound side and went over it, crashing onto Western Row Road.Secondary crashes have been reported on I-71, with people hitting debris from the crash at the barrier wall on the southbound side.Warren County sheriff's deputies and OSP have responded to the scene. Western Row Road will remain closed for a while longer, troopers say.This story will be updated when we learn more.
