Onondaga County Sheriff releases name of Baldwinsville woman killed on e-bike
The woman killed in an early-morning collision between a car and an e-bike in Baldwinsville on July 17 has been identified. The Onondaga County Sheriff's Office identified her as 63-year-old Theresa Hadley, of Baldwinsville. The crash happened around 3:30 a.m. on Syracuse Street near Grove Street. Investigators said a car was heading north on Syracuse Street when Hadley, traveling south against traffic on the e-bike, swerved into the driving lane and into the car's path. Greater Baldwinsville Ambulance Corps pronounced Hadley dead at the scene. The driver called 911 and was fully cooperative with deputies and detectives. They were released after being interviewed. Investigators say there is currently no evidence the driver was at fault in the crash. The Sheriff's Office says the investigation remains open.
