One seriously injured in overnight Glen car crash
GLEN, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- One person is receiving treatment for serious injuries after a single-vehicle car crash on Route 30A between Scott Road in Glen and Ingersoll Road in Fultonville. The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office said the road is closed until further notice for National Grid repairs. Emergency services were called to the crash around 1:33 a.m. and found a car struck multiple utility poles. Deputies reported that the driver was ejected from the vehicle and treated on the scene by multiple local emergency services agencies before being flown by LifeNet to Albany Medical Center. Montgomery County Sheriff Jeffrey Smith said National Grid is also at the scene and that the road is expected to remain closed for an extended period. Authorities are asking drivers to avoid the area and find alternative routes.
