One person hospitalized following Springfield Twp. car accident
One person was sent to the hospital after a car accident in Springfield Township on Sunday morning. The incident happened around 10:20 a.m. when rescue and medical personnel from Springfield Volunteer Fire Company and West County Paramedics were dispatched to a reported motor vehicle accident near the intersection of Happy Valley and Lucas roads. While units were enroute, Erie County 911 was advised that the incident involved two vehicles -- One struck a parked vehicle with one person reportedly in the roadway. Springfield cleared the two vehicles, and Pennsylvania State Police completed the investigation.
