One person died in a crash on northbound Interstate 25 at the 20th Street exit early Monday morning, the Denver Police Department (DPD) said just after 7 a.m. DPD said its officers responded to a call a bout a single-vehicle crash around 1:45 a.m. The driver was transported to a hospital, where they were pronounced deceased. Debris littered the area of the crash. Authorities conducted an investigation and crews cleaned up the roadway while the interstate was closed. It reopened shortly after 5:30 a.m. DPD said the cause of the crash is under investigation.
