One person dies in a deadly crash on Purrsyburg Road

A collision occurred around 2:45 p.m. on Purrysburg Road at Old Charleston Highway, just two miles north of Hardeeville. The accident involved a single vehicle traveling west on Purrysburg Road. It veered onto the left side of the road, striking a ditch. The driver, who was alone in the vehicle, sustained injuries and was transported to a local hospital, where they unfortunately passed away. Further information about the victim will be provided by the Jasper County Coroner's Office.
