One dead, four injured in DuSable Lake Shore Drive accident, according to authorities
A tragic incident occurred early Sunday morning on DuSable Lake Shore Drive, resulting in the death of a woman and hospitalization of four others after their car struck a pole and then the median on the Near South Side of Chicago. The Chicago Police Department responded to the crash at approximately 2:21 a.m., where an adult male driver lost control of the vehicle with multiple passengers on board. The driver and three passengers were taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center in good condition, while a woman sustained severe injuries and tragically passed away. The woman has not been identified by authorities. Major Accident Detectives are currently conducting an investigation into the incident.
