One dead after three-car crash on Macedon Center Road
ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — One person is dead after a three-car crash Friday afternoon in the area of Macedon Center Road and Copper Beech Run, according to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies said they were called to the scene just after 2:30 p.m. for a motor vehicle crash. The sheriff’s office said one person died as a result of the crash. Deputies, along with fire and EMS crews, remained on scene Friday afternoon treating others who were injured and investigating what led up to the crash. Macedon Center Road, also known as Route 31F, is closed between Wakeman Road and Monroe-Wayne County Line Road. Deputies said the closure is expected to remain in place for an extended period. Drivers are being asked to avoid the area and use alternate routes. No additional information has been released. The investigation is ongoing.
