OHP: Enid man killed in Grant County crash
Authorities say a man has died following an accident in Grant County. Around 7 p.m. on June 25, emergency crews were called to an accident at US 60 and US 64. Investigators say 56-year-old Monty Corbet was heading northbound on US 60 and did not see another vehicle stopped at a stop sign. Authorities say Corbet didn't slow for the stop sign and swerved to miss the other vehicle, causing him to hit a traffic light support pole. The impact caused Corbet's vehicle to rotate 90 degrees around the pole and came to rest after hitting a stop sign. Corbet died as a result of his injuries.
