OHP: 17-year-old killed in Cherokee County crash
Authorities say a teenager has died following a crash in Cherokee County. Around 7 p.m. on Thursday, emergency crews were called to Hwy 100 in Cherokee County following a single-car accident. Troopers with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol say a vehicle, driven by a 17-year-old, left the roadway, went up an embankment, and hit a tree. Investigators say the vehicle came to rest on its roof after rolling. The driver, whose name has not been released, was killed as a result of the crash.
