Neighbors rush to help victim of Mass. motorcycle crash

Two people were hospitalized Tuesday night in a motorcycle crash in Brockton, Massachusetts.The collision occurred around 7:33 p.m. in the area of 115 Ames St.Brockton police said officers were on scene within minutes and found a Yamaha motorcycle and a Mercedes C350 with extensive front-end damage.Neighbors told NewsCenter 5 two men on motorcycles were riding down the street when one of them collided with the car.One of the residents on Ames St. who works at a hospital rushed outside to help the injured man."She was doing CPR on him and I tried to help her and she said, 'I got it,'" one neighbor told NewsCenter 5. "We was on the phone with 911 and we talked to 911 while she was doing CPR."The injured man was transported to an area hospital. His condition is unknown at this time.According to neighbors, the driver of the Mercedes was a young woman who appeared to be very shaken up.She was also taken to a nearby hospital for evaluation.Neighbors said people often speed down Ames St.The crash remains under investigation by Brockton police.
