Motorcyclist killed in Englewood crash: Police
DENVER (KDVR) — A person riding a motorcycle died overnight in a crash in Englewood, police said. The crash happened in the 1900 block of West Dartmouth Avenue, according to an Englewood Police Department Facebook post. Police responded just after midnight Sunday morning to the crash, where a vehicle turning west onto Dartmouth Avenue hit the motorcycle as it was driving east on Dartmouth Avenue, according to the department. Officers arrived and found the motorcycle rider unconscious and not breathing; they attempted life-saving measures, but the rider died at the scene. Police cited the vehicle driver for careless driving resulting in death and are still investigating the crash. This is the second deadly motorcycle crash to happen in the Denver metro area overnight. Another crash happened earlier Saturday night in Aurora.
