Motorcyclist dies in Sacramento County crash, CHP says
A man died in a motorcycle crash in Orangevale on Wednesday night, according to the California Highway Patrol. CHP said the crash happened on Oak Avenue, just west of Filbert Avenue. Matt Wells with CHP said two motorcyclists were riding together when one lost control. CHP is investigating whether another vehicle may have been involved in the crash. "Anytime there’s a crash, anytime there’s a fatal or a crash involving injuries, it’s never easy to see," Wells said. "Unfortunately, it’s part of what we do, so the family members here are obviously distraught and upset and there’s no words that we can give them on scene."Westbound lanes were closed on Oak Avenue for a period and traffic was diverted to Filbert Avenue.See more coverage of top California stories here | Download our app | Subscribe to our morning newsletter | Find us on YouTube here and subscribe to our channel
